Denver Riggleman Wins First Debate

NELLYSFORD, VA – In the first debate in the 5th District Republican Congressional Primary Congressman Denver Riggleman won a decisive victory, contrasting his proven conservative record with his opponents’ lack of experience.  As Riggleman put it during the debate, “President Trump wants me in Congress fighting for his conservative agenda and he wants Bob Good to stay voting for stop signs in Campbell County.”

“It’s clear that Congressman Riggleman has spent his time in Congress fighting for our conservative values,” said Riggleman Campaign Spokesman Joe Chelak. “President Trump has endorsed Riggleman’s re-election and his performance in this afternoon’s debate is one of the reasons why. Congressman Riggleman has been able to consistently articulate conservative solutions and fight for our values on issues ranging from immigration, USMCA, 2nd Amendment to protecting life. Congressman Riggleman does what he says and has a track record of doing it for us in Congress.”

Chelak continued  “On the contrary, Bob Good failed to articulate why he is running for Congress or answer basic questions about what he believes and if he actually supports President Trump. It’s clear that Bob Good is not ready for prime time and we are surprised that he was able to get elected to Supervisor. If he can’t make it through a simple debate, he certainly will not be able to fight in Congress for our conservative values.”

Congressman Denver Riggleman serves the people of Virginia’s 5th District in Congress.  He was first elected in 2018.  His re-election has been endorsed by President Donald Trump, House Freedom Caucus Chairman Congressman Andy Biggs, Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr, The Susan B Anthony List and has a 100 percent rating from the Heritage Foundation.
